A Latino-Hawaiian Name?

I'm Latino (Mexican %26amp; Nicaraguan) %26amp; my wife is Hawaiian (amongst other things.) I would love to give my child a Spanish first name and a Hawaiian middle name, or vice-versa. Something like Diego Makana, or Kawika Francisco. I think it's super-cool, my wife isn't sold on it but reluctantly agrees. What do you think? Also, the child's last name will be Garcia.

Reply:I don't know very much about Latino names, but I have lived in Hawaii for most of my life. I have always loved the girl's name Mahealani. Malia is also a nice girl's name. Kalani or Kawika are good names for boys. Good luck coming up with a cice combination.
Reply:I like the spanish name Adamari for a girl and for the middle name what ever makes since with i. To be honest why dont you chose a name you like and her a name she likes and yall put it together.

Reply:Why should you decide on the name? She's the one who's actually having the baby, so I should think it's her choice not yours. Don't be so selfish.
