everyone heard of the suntan lotion brand hawaiian tropic?


well i need something along the lines of that, it needs to be an appealing name that would make you obviously want to buy the lotion.

Hawaiian Tropic is a terrible brand name. It says nothing about its product. Hawaiian Tropic could be a pineapple, a hotel, a street in Honolulu, a volcano or an airline shuttle. You are familiar with it only because the trademark owner spent hundreds of millions of dollars burning that trademark for a suntan lotion into your brain.





"Just Do It" is an incredibly successful slogan, but only because someone spent hundreds of millions of dollars promoting it.





"SunScrene" has many advantages:


1. It describes your product.


2. It can be trademarked. You cannot trademark sunscreen. It's too generic. But a misspelling like SunScrene can be trademarked because no one else has done so. (I think ... I did NOT check this out at the US Trademark web site). Nobody would confuse your trademark with a pineapple.


3. You could also call it Hawaiian SunScrene if you want. Or Mexican SunScrene, or Bermuda SunScrene, etc.
